Read It, Eat It by Kerry Tripp

For Grades 1st - 5th

Read It and Eat It is going global! In addition to reading regional folk tales, we will cook items from different countries including our first attempt at couscous! Cooking involves early math and science skills plus self-confidence building from the feeling of accomplishment in making something with the group. Children obtain an openness to try new foods and a sense of teamwork. A highlight is the parent/guardian & child tea party at the end of the session. Join us for some good messy fun.All the ingredients and utensils are provided.

Former SCES mother Kerry Tripp is the adult leader.  Kerry has had years of experience developing and running after school programs for school aged children.
